Books Academy proudly showcased Yank Shi’s book, “World’s End and the Sea Angle”, at the prestigious 2024 Frankfurt International Book Fair, held from October 16 to 20 in Frankfurt, Germany.

The story follows two graduate students, David, a white man Emily, a Chinese student at the University of Colorado at Boulder. The plot takes an unexpected turn when David is swept away by a tornado on the Kansas plains, which transports him to a time-space tunnel. This tunnel leads him to East Africa during the Stone Age, where he experiences primitive life and embarks on strange romantic adventures. Meanwhile, Emily, guided by the Heavenly Wise Man, learns about the rich diversity of human life and continues to follow David’s journey.
David and Emily are eventually reunited when they accidentally fall into another time-space tunnel in the Bermuda Triangle, sending them to a future world. Here, they witness the perfection of a highly advanced society their adventures continue as they explore this new reality. However, they also experience the tragedy of the World End, a catastrophic event that changes everything.
Through these journeys, David and Emily gain deeper insights into the cosmos, make new discoveries develop groundbreaking theories about the world and the universe. Ultimately, their journey culminates in a tragic end as they die in a possible nuclear war, leaving behind a warning that such a fate should be avoided.
